We often get phone calls about doing Russian passport renewals by mail. We would like to inform all of our readers that Russian external passports can only be renewed by setting up an appointment with one of the three Russian consulates and submitting your documents in person. Moreover, Russian internal passports can only be renewed at a Russian Interior Ministry office, which are only present on the territory of the Russian Federation. Read more
